Study For A U.S. Bar Exam Anywhere In The World With Our Home Study Programme
BARBRI International Bar Preparation courses are offered twice a year leading into the scheduled U.S. state bar examinations, which take place in February and July each year.
The Home Study programme is recommended for working professionals who need a truly part-time study option with greater flexibility and for candidates who cannot attend a classroom course due to location or classroom schedule conflicts.
As a Home Study candidate, you may choose from a 6-month or a 10-month course duration based on the amount of time you have to dedicate to bar studies each week. Both programmes use learning techniques such as spaced time repetition to ensure you are building knowledge over time to increase your chances of success in passing a U.S. bar exam.
Preparing with BARBRI International
The BARBRI International Bar Preparation programme is designed specifically for non-U.S. graduates focusing on the exam techniques that international students find difficult to master and on the topics that are most frequently examined to enhance your prospects of achieving bar examination success. Find out more below.
6 or 10 month programme
With the home study programme, candidates may choose between a 10-month course option and a 6-month course option depending on the time you have to devote to bar studies.
The 6-month programme runs from February through July with the bar examination in July or from September to February with the bar examination in February.
The 10 month programme runs from September through to July with the bar examination in July or from April to February with the bar exam in February.
Course work is assigned through the BARBRI Personal Study Plan throughout the course.

Bar Exam Details & Eligibility
A U.S. qualification is more achievable than you might have first thought as New York and California operate a relatively open policy in permitting foreign law graduates or lawyers to sit their bar examinations and do not impose restrictions to admission on grounds of nationality or residence.
There are many factors to consider though and we encourage candidates to attend an Open Day, or speak with a BARBRI International team member prior to programme enrollment so that we can ensure that you understand the steps required to establish your eligibility, that you are available to study for and sit the bar examination.
